No reshuffle for Perak Exco: Zambryby dominicpll ()TAIPING, Feb 27 (Bernama) -- Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir said today there will be no reshuffle of the State Executive Council (Exco) in the near future as they have only been appointed to their respective portfolios quite recently. On the other hand, he said, the current line-up would be given ample time to prove their effectiveness in discharging their responsibilities. "I've given them a specific time frame after which I will make my assessment. For the time being, I'm not making any evaluation although they will continue to be monitored based on their Key Performance Indicators (KPI)," he told reporters after a 1Malaysia gathering at Kampung Boyan, here. He disclosed this when asked whether he would reshuffle the Exco line-up as was being done by Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azizan Abdul Razak and Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan. Zambry said there might be a few Exco members currently who were less impressive in terms of their performance but he believed they were capable of improving their performance from time to time. The Menteri Besar also said that he had no plans to raise the number of the Exco members from six currently to 10 which was the usual number for the state government previously. |
